To be honest, I cant see any grounds for complaint here. Yorkshire certainly dont have liablity as they never advised on the sale of the product. The brokers/advisers have that liability. There is no suggestion of wrong doing.
Mortgage payment protection is not considered a mis-sale unless is was single premium or you are not eligible. If you claim on it and it pays out then it has done the job. So, what are the grounds for them making a mis-sale complaint?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. basically they were not fully aware that they were paying it after the claim was made after then... they were not fully informed aswell that even though the policy wouldnt have my father on that he wouldnt be covered etc.0

You would have to refer to their terms and conditions of the policy.0 -

basically i spoke to a claims management service and they said i still have a claim in terms of the ppi might have been added to the loan and they might also be able to right the loan off aswell because it falls in the bracket or something of the consumer credit act etc... does anyone know if this claim company is right?
also is there anywhere i can get trained for this stuff because this really interests me hahaha and i know alot of my friend and family have the same problems with ppi and would like to help them out0 -
Just get your friends and family to join here. There is a red tab at the top of this page that says Reclaim 1000's. If you look on there that is where you will find information on reclaiming PPI etc but mostly its from here on the site (oops, sorry martin) where people have first hand experience.0

It sounds like the claims company has asssumed its a personal loan or small secured loan with a PPI sale rather than an MPPI.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Many claims management companies will tell you anything to get an up front fee paid.
Did you ask the claims management company how the consumer credit act applies to residential mortgages? Did the claims company ask if the PPI was single premium or regular premium?

I was wondering if maybe this claims company had rang and said that they would be able to claim back the PPI and it was just a statement they use to everyone.
I have lots of calls from companies saying they can claim back my PPI and also if I have credit they can get it written off. I then say to them I have never had any loans or credit and it soon gets rid of them.0
