SC stock cube

I keep finding recipes but with all you have to add stock cubes or gravy etc.....
Problem is i will be cooking for my 11mth old too so dont want to use packets or stock cubes due to the salt in them.....

Does anyone know any other way or stock cubes with low or no salt?

I am a SC virgin

One of the best ways is to make your own stock as time goes on. There are a few threads on making stock in the collection linked below - and lots of other recipes that don't require stock cubes:-

I make Stock Ice Cubes :) Once you have made stock in the SC then stick on the hob to reduce and put in icecube bags and freeze... that way it's easy to stick a cube or two in the dish your making

Kallo organic vegetable stock cubes are advertised as low-salt and are absolutely delicious. They have a very mild taste, and don't contain MSG either! (most stock cubes do.)

They are quite expensive (the price for 6 is about twice the price of 12 supermarket own-brand cubes!) but in my view they're worth it.

Edited to say: :rotfl: catowen beat me to it! I buy mine from the Co-op.
