I am new to iphone and will be purchasing one in the next few months.

However I want to know what you know about the service from O2 & CarPhoneWarehouse.

    • Who give the best customer service & why?
    • What is your experience from their mobile insurance?

I wouldn't touch carphonewarehouse for an iPhone as far as I can throw them. Had a phone in the past with them, and it took about 5 months before the billing was correct.

O2, i've had no problems with. I can view everything online through their website, I get discounts for having their broadband etc etc.

As for insurance... never buy the stuff so can't comment.

The iPhone is a slightly different sell for CPW - all billing for iPhone contracts is done by O2 directly so you'll be able to avoid CPW's billing issues if you're buying an iPhone.

As far as insurance is concerned, it's probably better to shop around and also check if your contents insurance or bank account package (if you have one of those paid accounts) already have mobile phone cover which would make additional insurance redundant.
