Hi.. BG is calling it a 'boiler service' on the website...perhaps one of the BG reps posting on here could advise as to what a BG 'boiler service' entails
As always, consumers should read the terms and conditions of any 'offer'.;)

I was a service engineer with BG and left a year ago, it was called a safety inspection then purely for the reason that if they called it a 'service' they would have to follow the manufacturers guidelines.
That would have taken the engineer a lot more time to do0 -

Hi...then can we assume that BG service engineers will be following manufacturer's spec now? Dig out those manuals, folks;)
When we were staying in rented accommodation whilst renovating our current home, our landlord had Homecare....when we had the annual check, the engineer said he usually had 10-12 calls a day:eek:...he was at ours less than 30 minutes (WB 24 CDi non-condensing)....poor fellow!

Everyone at BG has Targets Engineers must visit about 10 houses a day ect to be on target.
Admin have a high target on system processes.
BG raised my targets above 50% from what they were last year and im only 1 employee.

I used them last year and found them thorough and efficient. You'll have to pay in advance, but the discount makes that worthwhile. Book online if you want the work done withing one month, otherwise ring (a quirk, apparently). Go to:

Booked an appointment online (via a cash back site like a good MSEer) only to be called four days later and told that there wasn't any engineers in the WHOLE of Cumbria to do a service!!!! The lass was very apologetic and suggested hanging on for a few weeks as npower may employ some more engineers. Oh well, off to BG!

Cant find a cashhback site that's for Npower service ?
Do you have a link please0 -
It's via Topcashback. Here's the link:
http://www.topcashback.co.uk/retailerdetailnpower_hometeam.htm
If it doesn't work, go to topcashback and search npower. It comes up under npower hometeam with £5 cashback for boiler service.
