please i relly need someones advice

please help me and my partner are in desperate need to get a credit card we need to buy a new car otherwise he cant carry on working as he needs to get to different places all over! but no one will give him one not even the ones with 30% interest we really dont know what to do we have also applied for a loan but cant get one if we cant get any money my partner could lose his job and then i dont know what would happen please can someone help us!thanks ash x

    well we have no credit at all we dont have any credit cards just an overdraft dunno wat to do really just need to buy a new car desperatly!

    I would suggest talking to your own bank first. You have some history with them.

    Would it be possible to, in the first instance, purchase a cheap car? Say, £1,500? I should imagine your bank, providing no other issues are in play, would provide that to you.

    Don't understand why you want to get a credit card to buy a car. Surely a personal loan or finance would be the way to go so you pay less interest?

    I think this is really good advice, a bank loan is way cheaper than a credit card Good luck with this

    but why are they saying he will lose his job now?
    did he have a car before that has broken?
    the the company provide a car then take it back? in which case they need to provide a replacement.
    Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
    current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
    Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)

    new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,000

    we have already been to our own bank they wont give as a personal loan i have already applied for others and no one will give us a loan!we have always had a car and his company wont give him one its all such a mess we have tried gettin a 1000 pounds from them but it is still no! the only other option is to up my overdraft limit and pay it back that way!would this be an ok idea?

    What's wrong with the car you have?

    If he needs a car for work, the company should be paying for it.
