Just a quick query, if they have a small child and the dogs are pooing everywhere in the flat is that not dangerous to the childs health? Don't know if that's something that child welfare would be interested in?

Yes this is very true and if you speak to a Health Visitor from any Doctors Surgery they will HAVE to take action and investigate further. It is not fair on any child to live in these condtions. You will not have to pass on your details so don't worry about that.

I do feel sorry for the LL don't think that he is being difficult my brother had a similar problem and he couldn't do much. It took him 10 month to evict his tennants and he lost over £10 000 in the process. Some people just know how to work the system. I expect the LL is suffering and finding it difficult not being able to rent out the other property these days tennants have more rights than those owning the property. I hope that you get this sorted xx

    Good Luck
  • I'm sorry but i don't feel sorry for the landlord, he ignored our warnings, we have been warning him since Christmas and he is now paying for it. He doesn't have to live next door to the noise and the smell and the rats. Nobody gives a thought to the people who have to live next door.
