this is what you need: NEW BUT UNPROGRAMMED TRANSPONDER http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-2-BUTTON-REMOTE-TRANSPONDER_W0QQitemZ120434928407QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item1c0a7b2b17&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1683%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
both under £10!!! then take it to a key cutter like timpsons who will charge around £30 to cut it and program it. If you use a call out locksmith or "car key specialist" the price will double.Debt@LBM1=£4050 1st DFD 27/08/09

don't worry i think the thread has got a little confusing, and i'm a woman too, lol.
ok, firstly don't get either of the above as they are for toyotas.
If you need a complete new key, because you've lost the old one then you need this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-207-307-308-TRANSPONDER-CAR-KEY-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ370171400617QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item562fef51a9&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1683%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
It is a completely new key, with a new transponder, which you will need to take to your local key cutter.
I've just rung my guy and he's quoted me £25 to cut and program a key for a 307.
But also said he could get the key too for an extra £10 and save me waiting for it to come from ebay.
So you should look at paying no more than £40 whether you source the key yourself, or ask your key cutter to do the whole job
hope that helps  Debt@LBM1=£4050 1st DFD 27/08/09

On late models the 'guts' of the key is fitted into the stupid plastic key and you can't swap the 'guts' over........
On alot of late models, you only have room on the ECU for programming in just one key. If you need two - then you need a new ECU .. :eek:Genie
