I have news for you, it is not only at work'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. BTW we only have your word for your 55k tax bill.
Bendix was kind enough to tell me privately where he works.
Unless he is lying about his job and role (and if so why give me the employer's name?) then I see no reason he wouldn't be paying that in tax.
Of course, I could be lying too.
Nothing is really provable in this sort of scenario, is it? we all could be exactly who we say we are, or totally different from who we pretend to be. I tend to take everyone at face value and with a pinch of salt at the same time: a difficult balance.0 -

I don't care where he works or what his pay or taxes are.

I bet that is a first, Bendix and kind used in the same sentence:p'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. neither do I, really, just trying to join some dots and try and prevent the initiation of another row. Probably will fail though
FWIW although contraversial I do not believe all being born with equal rights means all being capable of acheivement in the same ways, or even at all. Thats why I do believe in having a welfare system. Believing in a welfre systenm doesn't mean I approve of how it is now, or the abuse of it how it is now.0 -
Of course you do. What's your point?
What a very silly statement to make.
Not as silly as you bragging how many unfortunates you look after.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. That's not really true though. For instance you were obviously born an @sshole.
Really? Why would you say that?
For believing that all people are equal, or failing to subscribe to the leftwing notion that - no, people are not all equal - and some are superior to others?
For believing my responsibilities are to myself and my family, and not an obese family in Blackburn who complain to the media that they are too fat to work, and that complain that they're fat because vegetables dont taste nice?
Or for believing that the growing nanny state in society is ruining this great nation, not saving it?0 -
Not as silly as you bragging how many unfortunates you look after.
What can an anonymous person on an internet forum gain from 'bragging', as you say? We are lines of script on a computer screen . . and this is a financial forum, so where is the harm in discussing incomes and taxes, away from the prying eyes of 'real' people?
And for the record, I was complaining, not bragging.
Bloody wool-minded liberals . . .0 -
I'm fed up paying hideously high taxes so halfwits can eat themselves into obesity on burgers, live their lives through Richard and Judy lenses, claim IB forever and then have the sheer bleeding audacity to feel self-righteous indignation (fueled by the halfwit press) at the so-called fatcats who bust their guts all day to finance such lifestyles.
I suggest you use a little more 'intellectual curiosity' in finding out about the unemployed than just reading the Sun or Daily Mail 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
