You do share DD's Bullish viewpoint on the housing and stockmarkets, have a similar writing style and like winding people up. Hmnnnnn . It does seem to fit in....
I don't really care whether you call me a Sockie or notBut it is a complement to be compared to DD
He always came over as a smart guy. BTW you seem to know a lot about him:rolleyes: Hey people, please tell me that I am not arguing with myself here

I hope you are not suggesting I am/use Sockies
What was it you said?
I have seen this sort of thing against ad44downey and Wookster and have asked people to provide any sort of proof that he uses sockpuppets. No one supplied a jot of evidence. I assume that by making this sort of stand, that I have now become the next target.
I hope you won't accuse me of being Dervish again then either, due to your protesting above
Glad that ones sorted, unless it's one rule for you only0 -

Perhaps he accuses everyone to divert attention away from himself? I wonder if the Mods could have a look at his IP address?"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -

Why thank you. That's the nicest thing someone has said about me for ages.
I am harsh. You have to be. It's dog eat dog out there.
I have no patience for the lazy, the incompetent and the uncurious. I get so frustrated on the pensions forum for example, where people blindly say 'oh, ooops, I know nothing about pensions,' as if it's cute or clever. It isnt. It's irresponsible.
I'm fed up of this nanny society where problems are always someone else's fault.
I'm fed up paying hideously high taxes so halfwits can eat themselves into obesity on burgers, live their lives through Richard and Judy lenses, claim IB forever and then have the sheer bleeding audacity to feel self-righteous indignation (fueled by the halfwit press) at the so-called fatcats who bust their guts all day to finance such lifestyles.
I am sorry, but we are all born equal, and - health issues aside - we all have the same opportunities to be successful or to fail. Many choose the latter because someone else will take care of them.
(Apart from that, I'm quite happy today :j )0 -

Banking fat cats nearly destroyed the world economy while they were busting their fat guts 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Sigh.
SteveiJ, do yourself a favour. Put the Daily Mail away and read a real newspaper. Or, better still, stop to consider that issues driving financial markets, global economy, banking and consumer behaviour are just a TAD more complex and a shade less black and white, that glib lines like yours might suggest.
What was I saying just now about the lack of intellectual curiousity?
By the way, I never referred to banking fatcats. According to the mass media, my salary qualifies me for fatcat status. How lovely. Never worked for a bank in my life.0 -
Oh great. Another thread decays into a bunch of people arguing about who is a sock and who isnt. It took me about 90 seconds to skim through this !!!!.
i want those seconds back.0
