Sexual discrimination/equal pay issue

I have just posted on another thread regarding IT's and the payouts are very rarely, if ever, that great.
£3-5K seems to be the standards and not often more.
They only take into account actual losses rather than pre-empted ones.
Hard facts and figures are all they deal with and never 'emotional payouts'.0 -

Another £20k was a joke woody..;)
I stand by the £5-£10k offer though. As a ball park first.Not Again0 -
What is your problem?
The stuff you have written on this thread indicates you are are either:
1. Known to the person who has started the thread, OR
2. Someone who regularly discriminates against employees due to sex, race, religion or age, and has so far got away with it.
If you are either and your username has any links to your real name I suggest you stop writing.
If you are simply a troll then lots of posters on this thread have clocked you, and hedger has been polite.
Olly, well said mate. Woody the nob is definitely another user we've had PPR'd. I'll spend a few hours next week studying his posts and will see a pattern of mis-spells/basic grammar/use of words & punctuation etc - we'll soon figure out the 'real' saddo behind the woody-nobster!
We found out bushtea/allthings and hbos/easternthunder and several others so won't take long to get it PPR'd. :rotfl::rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

Another useful post.
Can't even spell knob right........idiot!0 -
Please don't try to get Woody PPR'd. His posts re employment law issues provide a genuinely useful perspective for potential claimants/grievances. (No bull, I actually mean that)
Basically if the employer is going to fight/wriggle/throw the kitchen sink at the employee then woody will provide exactly the type of thought processes that the employer will be having within his posts.
Sometimes I even agree with his views. (Other times I do not!) but although he can be extremely harsh and personal, it's very useful nevertheless.
PGo round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger0 -
I agree. I very rarely agree with Woody however, he will always play the equivalent of 'devil's advocate'.
At times he is spot on, though.....0 -
well i hope they have the evidence to substantiate it. u know like poor appraisals, proper and fair redundancy process etc
They can make additional files up and leave files out.
Another trick is to provide computer print outs as records, where the records aren't actually signed. This is mainly to hide dates.
It's all been done lots of times.
That's why you should never throw away any bit of paper to do with your own employment until you leave a company, as unless you have the original document you cannot prove it's not true.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

thankfully Olly we have the 3 x original signed appraisals which I believe will be very very important. also have every email, letter, conversation recorded0 -
letter of offer received in the post this morning and contacted yday by another company about attending an interview next week
fair play to the new employer for giving my wife the chance to defend herself and then believing her (i reckon hes delved further into it and asked other senior people in the previous company)0 -
