    Hello all,

Quiet here to-day, just OH and me, OH cooked a huge breakfast and of course I ate it....just as well, I think as the pork roast I took out of freezer last night has not defrosted at all, think that dinner will either be very late or just whatever 'quickie' delight I can dig out of the freezer!

Nice sunny day, not over warm, will have to water garden as we have had no rain for several days...later..

More football to watch to-day, so another lazy day....at least living room was hoovered and dusted this morning so I won't be feeling guilty about sitting in a messy room.

    Have a lovely day all

    Happy Birthday Miss tru :bdaycake:

Got all DDs laundry done yesterday and she has got settled back with all her stuff. Thought we would have sold our house and moved ages ago! Sigh!

Roast pork with new potatoes, green beans, roasted veg with garlic and small yorkies and gravy.

Might just do salad and rolls with sausage etc for a quick tea.

Thought my Remoska had broken and was really upset till DH told me it was all right the next day - he had washed the deep pan and not dried it properly!!!!!!

Hugs to everybody and see you later.

    Afternoon all

Just brought the washing in, nicely dried in the sun.

Have pressure washed the patio this morning and it looks lovely and clean now. Had roast chicken for dinner, so thats tomorrow's dinner sorted too, chicken salad with new potatoes :D

Wandered round and de-greenfly'd all the plants in pots on the patio and the couple of rose bushes out the front with a spray of washing up liquid and water, they were all covered so will be keeping a beady eye on them now.

It seems everyone is celebrating their wedding anniversary lately so am jumping on the bandwagon, it was our 28th yesterday. Bought myself a lovely new vase for the beautiful flowers DH bought me :j Then ended up going out and replacing our new kitchen tap as it had begun to leak, the tap and under the sink too  Only had it about 2 months too.

Been sitting out in the garden today reading, bliss. Hope this lovely weather continues.

    ((hugs)) to all xxxx

    Hello everyone :hello:

Just got back from a lovely weekend away and it's a shame that I have to go to work tomorrow. However, I'm buoyed up that I've been able to get a job for 4 weeks over the summer holiday, working where I used to work during my uni holidays 9 years ago. Luckily, not much has moved on as my direct manager then will be my direct manager this year! DH is delighted as I'll have to live with my parents for those 4 weeks and he'll have the house clean and tidy for 4 weeks.

Other than that, I'm trying to find inspiration for supper tonight. I'm thinking pasta with a sauce..... all storecupboard stuff that I seem to have stocked up with without me actually noticing. Oops.

I'll catch up with you all another time properly, but in the meantime, Happy birthday to Miss Tru! :j :j

 Happy Birthday Miss Tru  I can still remember my 18th - fantastic time.

 Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Chrisca  28 years is impressive.

Had a very nice day today mainly because of the weather, washing & ironing done this morning. OH made £60 odd at the bootsale and we are happy with that. Afternoon spent reading in the garden and barbeque for tea. Not much OS :D but will make up for that in the week.
