    Happy Birthday Miss Tru

Haven't posted for a wee while, just been absolutely up to my eyes in, well, life ;)

I've got my final exam tomorrow  That will be my first year at college completed  I go back in September for a further year, so the fun and games will begin again ;)

DD is going strawberry picking with her friend this afternoon, I will be doing a combination of study, washing, drying, ironing in various cycles :rotfl:

DH, DD and I went over the park yesterday with DD's new cricket set, let's just say I'm aching today where I didn't think you could ache :o

Tea tonight will either be roast gammon or roast beef, not sure which yet. Followed by eton mess (if DD brings home some good strawberries ;))

Have a lovely day OS'ers (((((hugs)))))
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Need to go to inlaws later, only popping there to drop off Fil's birthday pressies. Hope they dont do a barbeque - imagine a pork chop barbequed for 20 mins over flames - then cut into half! MIL is priceless, once there were 8 people at her house for lunch - she did 6 rolls :rotfl:
    x

This reminds me of my mums elderly neighbour, her and her hubbie have one new potato each, and a tin of corned beef will last them a weeks meals :rotfl:now I am all for money saving, but he is a big man and must be starving half the time, she on the other hand is as slim as a teen girl  mmm  perhaps she HAS got the right idea :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Beautiful day here, got my bedding in the wm, will get dd to strip hers once she gets out of it , will get it all washed and put away today, ( I dont do Ironing ) think I will wash the bath mat too, it takes an age to dry, but today is going to be hot.

OH has gone to the car boot, yesterday he came home with 2LB of asparagus, and two huge bunches of beetroot, so I need to get cooking later, think we will have some asparagus for dinner, then make a frittata with the rest, for lunches during the week.

Dinner was going to be roast lamb, but I forgot to get it out of the freezer, so we will have that tomorrow, today we can have either, pizza and salad, with asparagus to start, or gammon steak new pots and salad, will see what the others want. ( Im guessing pizza ;))

Yesterday my mum took her dog down to the park for the walk, on the way back in the car it started to rain really heavily, they live in a rural area, and as she was driving along there was a man standing by the side of the road, with his face turned up to the rain, with his zip open and his 'little friend' in his hand :o:rotfl:, after she has finished laughing, she called the police, but he had gone by the time they got there, it worried me a bit, as there are always children up and down that road, and it would scare them.

Sorry this has gone on a bit, hugs where needed

Happy Birthday Miss Tru, hope the hangover is not to bad.

Pink and Haribo, where are you, hope all is ok xx

    Morning peeps

all better now :D but on the downside i`m at w*rk  roll on 4 o`clock when i shall be back at home :D

The weather is beautiful, i can`t wait to get in the garden, DH is at home today and has taken over the kitchen making fishing bait  hope i`ve got a kitchen left by the time i get home.

Tea tonight will be jacket potatoes, cold ham and mushroom pie that i made with leftovers and salad from the garden, i shall have toast for dinner, quick, easy and i`m not too hungry.

Happy Birthday Miss Tru :bdaycake:enjoy your day once you`ve recovered :D

Nic1lou2 - Great news about the caravan, i`m very envious :p i would love one but DH wouldn`t like to tow one. I`ve been looking at tents for the last couple of days and i think that i may have found one that is suitable for us. I doubt that we will have a holiday this year as little old houndie needs his routine but we may manage the odd day away fingers crossed.

I`m rabbit sitting for a friend who is away atm, she has a huge lop eared rabbit who is quite scary but cute at the same time :D her feet are bigger than my cats paws and when i put her food bowl into the hutch she runs up and puts both front feet into it  bit unnerving but she is so sweet :D

Not much OSing today as i`m stuck in the office for most of it but will have a quick swish/swipe later.

    Enjoy the beautiful weather peeps.
