I have had McAfee on my Dell computer since new - suppose because it was there initially I just stuck with it.
When it comes to renewal time I contact them and tell them that I don't want it anymore. They always come back and offer to at least halve the price and so I then renew it for a further year (usually about £19.99)
Can't say it is brilliant as after a few years it does seem to have slowed the computer down, but then again as far as I know it has kept it pretty well protected.
Is there really much to choose between any of them? They just seem to be a necessary evil:eek:
How do you know it's kept it protected? One of the issues I found with McAfee is that it let viruses infect the PC and you're only able to find out by using a better antivirus instead or by spotting the specific symptoms and manually finding the infected files."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
