  • Hi All,

I am fairly new to the DFW section but have been reading this section and getting lots of inspiration so thought I would add my own list for the weekend in the hope of getting round to most of it!! So here it is:

Use up eggs - bake some cakes.
Sort out e-bay items that are ending today to send on Monday.
    Daily Scratch - 50p today!!
    Surveys - Done
Food planner for week - using food from the larder cupboard
    Enter competitions
Carry on sorting through clothes ready for charity shop/ebay.
Cook up some meals and freeze down.

Think that will do for now - got to get into the flow of it!!
    Thank you to all posters:beer:

    Evening all,

Just wanted to say hello. Sorry I've not had a chance to post in ages but not sure where my time has been going. I don't think I'm doing anything different. Maybe cleaning the kitchen floors more - I'm a bit oc with my kitchen floor

I've done a few things and in the process of making a Christening card so better get a move on with that. :A

  • This is a great idea!

So far this weekend I have
    • signed up for weekly spend challenge
    • started the sealed pot challenge
    • done a 'stock check' of the fridge, freezer and cupboards
    • bought my train tickets home 9 days in advance and saved way more than expecting...

    Tomorrow I intend to
    • plan meals for the week
    • go to Aldi/Lidl... have not yet been (there is a Tesco 100m from my front door) but determined to explore the nearest discounter to see how much I can save
    • explore bigwardrobe*
    • make lunch for Monday

    * I had never heard of bigwardrobe until I read leelee24's post - so many, many thanks for that.

Hope you are all having a great weekend
Proud to be dealing with my debt

    Morning all :j

Looks as if it will be another lovely day :T

    Yesterday I:

    Checked online banking

Dealt with animals' and plants' needs

Dug our first new potatoes of the season, and had them with smoked haddock and broccoli. They were lovely - made a really plain meal into a feast!

    Weeded the garden

De-flead (sp?) the cat and dogs

Did the shopping (spent more than I had intended at Mr S )

    Today I will:

See to animals and plants as always (chickens need cleaning out today)

    Make HM meals

Make something to use up loads of eggs - my hens are going mad!

    Do housework

    Washing and line dry

Do an hour's work on tax returns (mine and OH's)

Have a nice day everyone :hello:

    Hello all

    Still to do today:
    • [STRIKE]count up pile of small change found in a tin last weekend![/STRIKE] done got £32!
    • photograph some items for sale on ebay and get them listed
    • [STRIKE]try on trousers from bigwardrobe swap and leave feedback for the sender[/STRIKE]

    • [STRIKE]relax and take it easy for the rest of the day as still feeling under the weather and seems that OH now has the same thing[/STRIKE]

Today I will be trying to do those things I didn't manage to get done yesterday! I did list some more books on Amazon and have sold one this morning so that's a little bit more money to come my way next week when it hits the account.

London Welshcake - be warned, bigwardrobe is highly addictive! If I'm not on here these days I'm there...

    Enjoy your Sunday everyone!
