Hi again! Like with closing down sales.....

I think a central list of the Summer sales would be a very useful resource for all MSE'rs who like High Street bargain shopping!  ;D

Here's one I spotted!

[glow=red,2,300]"NEXT" SUMMER SALE[/glow]

http://www.next.co.uk/sale/index.asp

"MANY ITEMS ½ PRICE OR LESS MANY SALE LINES UPDATED"

I have included the link on their website to give you an idea of what's available, but I went into my local Next in Putney 2 days ago, and there were bargains galore, almost 3 quarters of the shop on sale! Of course you have to be careful to make sure they're not just pushing their "sale stock" but I had a quick look through and the quality of the clothing on sale seemed to be up to the ususal Next standard.

My local store (Putney, London) said many other Next outlets are having a sale, and that their sale was going to last until at least the end of this weekend.

Mens, ladies and Childrens wear and Homewear!

Enjoy!  8)

Went to Asda today and George is in full sale mode. Other half bought £140 worth of suits and shirts (two suits, two shirts, 3 ties) for £60 as all items were half price!

There were no sale tickets or banners on the items we bought, the assistant said everything was in the sale - this was at Asda at Castlepoint, Bournemouth.

Went to the Next Clearance outlet in Manchester and they had a huge sale on the clearance items, bought jackets for £3, bags £1, trousers £3 (reduced from £34.99 :o). Most expensive clothing item in store was £8 (coats).

Only small selection of children's clothing although large amount of men's and ladies clothing and shoes.

Just popped into Next and got a half-price shirt for £11:49. Store manager said sale is nationwide, and will last as long as the stock is selling well, he thinks a week or 2.

Sale in my local store included sunglasses and other accessories. Also lots of winter coats as well as summer stuff.    ;D

BHS also have an "Up half price sale" going on at the moment.

Saw posters all over my local BHS but haven't had time to have a nosey in the store!

The BHS website confirms the sale should be on in all their stores, but could not find any further details...

    http://www.bhs.co.uk/whatsnew.htm

"Up to 1/2 original price sale
Visit Bhs for the up to 1/2 original price sale - now on! There are hundreds of bargains across the store."

    Thanks ;D

WH Smith has DVD box sets on half price. I bought The West Wing season 2 for £24.99 (is £33.99 on Play.com) and they also had season one, Smallville, Ally Mcbeal and the like.

If any of you live close to Oxfordshire, Bicester Village is a must. A lot of sales and I found lots of bargains last w/e, ie 10-15 for a QUALITY 100% cotton work shirt which stuff from laredoute can't compare. And if you are into brands like DKNY, Polo, Paul Smith and stuff, there are bargains to be grabbed too.

Parking on Sunday could be flipping difficult though.
