Re: Robert Dyas sale

just picked up another 5  litre thermos cool bag from the local Robert Dyas store (for £2.99 was £5.99)

apart from taking food/drinks on picnics/to the beach and keeping it cool - it is also an excellent bag for taking a packed lunch to work/school.

Can easily fit a sandwhich box,drink carton, fruit and 1 or 2 other snacks in there, for instance, and the cool bag itself would easily fit into a typical small-sized rucksack/shoulder bag that you would take to work/school etc...

My partner uses our exisiting 5 litre cool bag for this purpose and now I've got one for my own MoneySaving packed lunches..much better than putting it all in old carrier bag!  ;D

Finally, on a local note, if anyone can make it down to Putney Library, they've got a really good book sale for the next week of decent modern fictional books (perfect for the beach). 2 tables, 10p per book or as many as you can carry for £1. Don't know about you but I've got a big pair of arms!! ;D

Wow P_M you have been a busy bee!

I've posted this before but thought I'd add it to your thread.  Clarks shoes are also on their 'final clearance' week.  Shoes which retailed at £30 - £50 are now just £9.99.  Their cheapest ladies and mens sandals are now just £4.99.  Ok, these aren't their best design/quality but are mighty fine for a few weeks wear for 1 season  :)

This weekend is probably going to be the last weekend of the sales for many high st retailers so get shopping guys  ;D
