    HI All

Thanks for the support, I cant beleive that this person is back. And i know i shouldnt fuel it but i need to respond to her accusation.

Brown Bake I really do not want to get into it with you but have i done something to upset you or your family?

I am not a scamer or dishonest in anyway i have a young family and work very hard to support them, I did not read your comment on my last thread but from what other forum friends have told me they were not very pleasant. And thanks to this MSE closed a fantastic thread and meeting place. I truly do not understand why you felt it nessasary to involve yourself. I do understand that everyone has a right to there opinion but you could have PM'ed me at any time with your concerns and i wouldd have done everything in my power to elay your fears.

If you do have anything you wish to say to me then please do it in private so we may all continue to meet on here. Thank you.

To all the rest of you good people,

does anyone know how CCJ work?? I have sent him the money by bank transfer in the form of a one time standing order payment as i thought this the safest way and have asked for a email receipt but had nothing back from him in over a week, I am little concerned that after all that has gone on and i have now paid him that i will end up with a CCJ anyway.

Hope your all enjoying the weekend

    Kind regards

    Paul

Nicely put Paul, however I dont think this joker has a problem with you, I think he/she just has a problem, full stop! I suspect that when he gets bored with you, he'l find someone else to insult. Dont worry about it.
I hope you are starting to put this nightmare behind you at last.
    Have a good weekend

A good point well made - I wish that the other fools that have fallen for a scam and given money to a complete stranger would grow up and get a bit of perspective.

Obviously their lives are so empty and worthless that they feel like part of a clan talking in codes and giving money to complete strangers - good on them.

    One word - SAD!!!! :T
You're right in a way, this was a scam. The only thing you seem to fail to understand is that Paul was the scamee, not the scammer. Not once was money asked for, the only thing he wanted was advice.

For some reason, you seem to be taking it upon yourself to not only call an innocent person a scammer, but also anyone that chooses to help him sad. I only hope that one day you get screwed out of a considerable amount of money, and get as much compassion and help as you've volunteered in this situation. Oh, and "feeling like part of a clan"... bitter that you're not in the "clan", by any chance?

Two words - SCREW YOURSELF!!!! :T

Hi Paul, as others have said, just ignore the troll, he probably thinks hes Sasha Boren Cohen's internet prodigy.

Thanks for the kind reply to my weather report support. Have you written to the judge yet or had a reply? What about the Watchdog or other media options? Has the wather stabilsed around midday or is it still climbing? We're all still rooting for you & common sense to prevail.

    Paul,

CCJs are County Court Judgements. Basically, the claimant will file for a CCJ (sometimes referred to in court as a warrant or warrant of execution) and that means that you havent paid the amount specified by the court in the time given to you and it enables the claimant to go onto the next step of getting the money back.

The claimant will need to pay a further fee to submit a CCJ against you and it will go to court for the judge to issue the CCJ. Once issued, it will then give the claimant a "default judgement", meaning you have defaulted on your payment. This then enables the claimant to instruct bailiffs to come round and recover the debt by collecting money or goods. The bailiffs fees and the warrant fees are added onto the debt amount and they will make 1-2 visits before getting "heavy", i.e clamping and towing your car to sell at auction etc etc

BUT...... as you have paid by Standing Order, and this can be traced and confirmed by your bank, you have nothing to worry about :)

My personal experiences of being on the giving end of CCJ/warrants (i.e. trying to get customers to pay me money owed) is that the bailiff process is less than useless. If a bailiff did show up at your door you would only have to deny that you are the person named on the warrant and get them to go away meekly. It costs money to take a claim to each next level and unless you owe £000's most claimants wont bother. Well that's been my experience anyway.
