Briona, I also live in Cardiff. Many times I look at people when I am out and wonder if they post on MSE.

The New Caz, I have started up delivering Avon and that helps meeting people and the commission is not that bad either.

Have you thought about Students Halls or similar?

I live in a lovely little place that has them and rents them out at a really cheap rate. The night life's not brill, but it has a pub!

I'm sure there's similar out there ... and instead of being spread all over the place, which might include taxi's ... you'd all be in one place.
