We kept our sunroof open at the Giraffe section at west midlands and had a Giraffe's head in our car. He also took some food out of my hand. I was much more excited than my children :D

It was one of my most favourite experiences EVER :D

When are you planning on going?

If its a bank holiday then, like most places, it gets really busy and they make you move around quicker than you'd like to. We went again on a quiet day and had the best day ever.

There are lots of handy tips on the website about the best times to drive around the park.

Have a great time. Can I come?
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

Sounds like a place I definately want to go. It'll be 175miles trip for me so I'll be looking for a night in a hotel. Hoping to go in the summer on a sunday, will ask u guys then for any good cheap hotels around.

I'll be going soon too but it's 3.5 hours or so. If anyone knows of good, cheap hotels nearby let us know!

The safari park is very close to bewdley (not sure of the sp) I dont know if you are into camping but there are a quite a few camp sites in that area. We camped at Hopleys Farm very cheap £4.50 a night it was very very basic but they have their own lake and the kids had a lovely time fishing, in fact they keep badgering me to take them again. It only took 15 mins to get to the safari park from there.
Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
