My problems came with my benefits not going into the account on time, so then started with charges, which was coming out of my rent, in a year they have rolled over to over £1200. When i phoned halifax to explain what was happening they was very rude and told me to learn to deal with my money better:mad: I was coping just, before they started with stupid charges
Have you been dealing with their hardship team that deals with complaints?
Unfortunately bank staff(yes, I am ex staff now thank god) are trained in a way that you aren't managing your money and that is why there are charges. Is there anyway of cancelling Direct Debits and paying cash to avoid further bank charges?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
I was dealing with halifax sutomer realtions, and they said they had send my form to an independant board to assess my financial problems....not sure if that was the case.
I know have cancelled all dd's and arranged for my benifits to be paid into a different bank account, i was trying to claim my charges back to pay of rent arrears to save our home.
