  • I am with Orange and get 500 x net and 500 text for £25, is this not competitive ?

No! On t-Mobile flext35 for £26.25, you can get 500 X net minutes and 800 texts or, or 500 texts and 650 x net minute, or 900 x net, or 1800 texts. The new tariffs are really flexible, and great value for mone :j y.

One of the lessons for this for me is something I learned a while ago, ask all the stupid questions, and believe that they are out to get you.

I've sometimes got people clearly annoyed by asking, and will there be a charge for this. I recently bought a computer from Currys, the only one left they had was off the a demonstration model.

"Does the fact that it is a demonstration model affect my warranty."
"Are there any marks on it?"

Ask the questions and believe they are out to get you. The receipt did not even mention the fact it was open box, so I was happy.

Another trick is to repeat the conversation back to them, "You are John Smith, you have confirmed that if I cancel there will be no charge whatsoever, even if I take my PAC code." At which point you may get a well actually, but at least you know....

I think customer service in general is on the decline.
