    Hi
Don't know if anyone can help. I had a few items that were ordered in the Next VIP sale in July 09. When i got the confirmation email the price was showing as full cost so i called Next and they said don't worry we'll adjust it when your statement comes through. Spoke to Next twice since then and they said sorry i'll adjust it for you. Still not done, now when i speak to CS they say items were never in the sale as they are now in winter brochure and i'll have to pay full price!!
Has anyone had similar problem and been able to sort it? I know there were lots of problems with the internet over the VIP sale. Any advice/help is much appreciated.
    Thanks

I've never had a problem like this with Next. It's outragious  . I would ring again and demand to speak to a customer service manager rather than a cs operator - ask if all their calls are recorded as your previous conversations with cs will be at least logged and possibly recorded. Did you keep any names of who've you've spoken with previously?

I always e-mail on the odd occasion I've had any issues with them or other on-line shops as any reply is in writing therefore must be upheld!

  • I'm still awaiting 5 things from the VIP sale and queries it with cs a few days ago. I've been promised I will still get the items but they are awaiting stocks (find it strange as thought a sale was to get rid of existing stock so surely they should already be in stock but never mind). Have never experienced delays with them before mind.

Can't believe they are planning another sale - should sort out deliveries of the previous sale first....

A card's just come in the post to ask me to register my e-mail address by Monday 21st September for the mid season sale - strange as they already have it!

  • No link, unfortunately, just to register your e-mail address so that they can send an invitation.
  • Does anyone know which date the Christmas sale will fall on? Will it be the 26th cos of sunday trading laws or the 28th as the staff won't have enough time to prepare the sale after Christmas?

(Apologies if this has already been asked and answered however I did search and couldn't find anything definitive!)

Need to sort out leave as I get all my son's clothes in the sale :T
  • Shan't be bothering with this one. The quality has gone down over the last few years, but this year the quality is horrendous. On a par with supermarkets or Primark imo. Which is not too bad if you're paying those prices too.
I had a Next account for 9 years now, but have spent a fraction of what I used to this year.
