Does anyone know which date the Christmas sale will fall on? Will it be the 26th cos of sunday trading laws or the 28th as the staff won't have enough time to prepare the sale after Christmas?

Need to sort out leave as I get all my son's clothes in the sale :T

It's going to be on Boxing Day which suffice to say has gone down like an utter lead balloon since most of our rival retailers are holding off until after Boxing Day and most city centres where stores are will be deserted and staff have been told to make their own way in (should be interesting with a lack of public transport in some areas)

Personally believe this to be a mistake as you'll have a few hardcore salers and the non christmas celebrating types.

I'm really disapoointed with it being on boxing day, I love the next xmas sale but wont be rushing in on boxing day
For starters I'll still be half drunk from the night before plus its our special family gathering day so we can eat all our xmas left overs buffet style!!

I better get a VIP Invite me thinks!!

I've miraculously just received a leather jacket I ordered in the July sale and which I never thought would appear so there is still hope for anyone still waiting!

Some items that were not reduced in the Summer sale are now actually coming up as reduced prices. Does not say sale prices underneath in red but a couple of items that were definitely not in the sale are now half price. If you still have a copy of your Summer Directory, might be worth having a peek. Incidentally, the stuff that was in the sale is now showing full price with sale price written underneath!!!

Indeed, I personally think it's a massive massive mistake and first day takings will be well below average. The lack of public transport, the fact rivals will be closed, city centres relatively quiet and potential massive staffing issues

Looking at stock quantities for this mid season, I really don't know why they bother anymore. From when I first started the stores are practically reduced to a couple of walls and a stand of stock

I'll be going into store now rather than buying sale on line. They've made such a massive mess up of one of my orders and are trying to charge me £100 more than I owe, that I'll never shop on line again! I've spoken to three people and emailed by two and they constantly change their story. My statement doesn't even add up! I will not pay them more than I owe :mad:

I agree the last sale was a shambles but I am still sat here waiting for the nod that VIP invites are available to book for this weekends sale! Mug!!

Haha, me too!!! guess we all still love a sale! and I still love Next stuff so i'll still be over-excited if I get a VIP slot!!!
