I wear the clarks active air shoes fernlibee mentioned, the assistant said they were designed to be the most comfortable shoes clarks had ever made :T0

I work 13 hour shifts sometimes 12 days straight in a hospital. I have to be smart for work, so need nice shoes. Marks and Sparks footglove are the only way to go. They do normal and wide fit. I have 3 pairs which I can wear all day for 13 hours, then go straight out clubbing in afterwards and they still look OK, and my feet are still comfy!0

When I first started in retail, I found that for the first couple of weeks a footspa was invaluble! If you have one or can borrow one it would be great. All the standing was a bit of a shock to the system to me at first, so I'd round off the day with a nice massagey soak
10 years of retail behind me now, I still use it if I've had a hard dayfollowed by Burt's bee's foot cream and little bee motif socks to keep my tootsies in good nick
