Tube strike - refund on season ticket?

Looks like TfL are willing to issue a goodwill payment to those affected by the tube strike. :TLondon Underground will take applications for goodwill refunds as a result of the RMT's industrial action from Monday 15th June 2009. An application form will be available from this date on the website to submit these applications. During the industrial action refunds are not payable under the Customer Charter and only the revised application for goodwill payments should be used.See: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/tickets/refunds/tuberefund/
I cannot find the application form - the Customer Charter one available on the website is not the correct one. I have just emailed TfL to enquire. I will let you all know as soon as I get a response.0 -
The application form is now online:If you hold a 7 Day or longer period Travelcard on Oyster purchased from a Transport for London outlet, and your normal tube journey of 10th and 11th of June was severely disrupted you can apply for a goodwill payment voucher which can be used for future travel. Please follow the RMT Strike – Application for Goodwill Payment link below. You are asked not to use the Charter refund process to apply for the goodwill payment.https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/tickets/refunds/industrialaction/default.aspx
Good luck!0 -
So what if you have a season ticket which includes rail and tube, but is not on oyster? It seems you cannot claim as the form asks you for your oystercard number. I pay £4000 a year for my (paper) season ticket and was severely disrupted too but it seems I am not eligible to claim0

Is this season ticket an actual London underground season ticket (green) with photocard or the BR standard type?0

I have a National Rail season ticket which includes the Tube to Canary Wharf which costs me over £4000 per year. When the Tube is down and I get delayed I ALWAYS make a claim. I have found THE best way to do this on Google. A software product called TubeMaestro - just Google for it, you'll easily find it as it appears to be everywhere. It lets me make a refund claim in as few as two mouse clicks and about 20 seconds in time. The drag of filling out the form has been completely removed for me. It also shows me the status of the tube lines, departure boards, tube map and more. I have told all my friends who work or live in London about this app - I love it. When there are delays, TFL should live up to their charter and give us refunds. It messes up my day when I'm delayed . Hope this helps someone.0

Tube Fares Refunded ! Result :j
Great tool, I now use it daily to track delays on my tube journey
I've had Tube Maestro on trial and made 4 claims so far. Its really satisfying to claw my money back from TFL after a draining journey to work. (Also considering I don't get paid if I break down or work slowly)
TubeMaestro makes a claim really easy when normally I probly wouldn't bother.
BTW the trial gave me enough time to claim the cost of actually buying the software anyway. No brainer ! (along with all the other features)
Is no one else using this or are they keeping it to themselves ?0
