I sympathise, but you can't stop people talking to each other and what this person alleges (or has been quoted as saying by your 'friend' on the phone), amounts to hearsay.

If you report the matter, you'll lend credence to what she's said and give her and her cronies plenty more to gossip about

Are her claims actually bordering on the truth?

If so, I can't help thinking you'd be better off giving more attention to your financial affairs. If I were you, I'd apply for another credit card with a different lender. Then you could close down this account and put the whole sorry episode (and your so-called friends)
    behind you ;)
People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.

What honesty? How else can she have found out about your situation without looking at your account 'on occasions?'
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
