I don't understand how this works. If i had say 500 any network minutes free, and thw website says that it is 10p/min to call India, then will i get charged 10p/min on the bill? What about if i called from a landline, how much would it cost?

Well if you had 500 x-net minutes then calling this 07744 number should be counted as part of your inclusive minutes, however some "3" users have reported that they've been billed for calling this number.

I emailed the simply fone people to ask what network the number was and they replied saying it was the dolphin network.

Anyway double check with your network provider or alternatively call for a min or two and then check your online billing to see if u been charged.

After reading this topic and having phoned up vodafone only to be kept on hanging on for 25 mins because no one could say whether I could call dolphin on a voda anytime contract , although they were 'confident' you could i bit the bullet and phoned a couple of days before my monthly billing was up- When I checked with them a few days later It seems I have been charged  £10.60 odd for calls (even though I have sufficient minutes left ). When I have queried it they say I have been charged for some calls to the simply fone number and not charged for others.

Therefore it looks like you cant get away with phoning this number if you are with vodafone so be aware!

my experiences are different

1.Firstly, u should call vodafone accounts from yr mobile on 191 which is a free call to them (because its a free call... they answer quite quickly)

2. i was also charged for those calls to 07744974333 - dolphin. I phoned vodafone & was credited immediately -- received by post a credit note [on 2 occassions!]

3. check u are actually using inclusive minutes because u may have gone over yr allowance in which case u would be charged for those calls!

using this number my savings for last 3 months have been about £200.
Can't be bad...

whenever u have account query with [any] mobile provider, u have to be little pushy & in my experience.....
