I've just noticed that this service is now valid to most large cities in India including India mobiles.

Excellent call quality.

BT definitely do not charge for the calls - thye come out of your free minutes. I have recieved a bill already from calls lastmonth to USA (same access no.)

used it for 3 months so far - call quality excellent & saved a fortune! - & although got invoiced for calls once by vodafone... when queried with voda accounts dept - got immediate credit [& nice apology] ;D ::)

Hi - Recieved my last month's bill form 3. I got charged for the 07744 numbers. Called them and was told i have been charged b'cos the number is a personel service number. Had a long argument with them tellingthem that it isn't and they have told me that they will get back to me in 48 hours.

Question.. if this is a personal service number how can one discover this by looking at the number rather than looking at the bill when it arrives!

I was curious also that if this is a mobile number then presumably it would be on one of the mobile networks right? ie if it was on tmobile then anyone with the freetime 750 would be able to use it off peak?

I received my3 billing on the 6th of Dec (the day free minutes allowance stopped to be used on simply-phone) and all connections was described on as mobile connection in 500 allowance.
Having bought this mobile Talk500 on dial a phone there was description that I will have x-cross minutes and reading simply-phone website there is note that if someone have such a allowance will be able to use it. I’m not English but if feel that someone makes me fool as supposedly simply-phone operates under Ofcom licence the highest telecom governing body in UK.
For me somewhere there is a law hole and for me it’s a 3 fault.
I’m very frustrated about recent 3-network stance. When I bought that contract my main reason was to call my country as cheap as possible therefore I used then free teledsicount number 0845 after two weeks they changed their T&Cs. Now is similar situation with 07744974333. Pure c&&p.
Can I know how much have you been charged so I will be able to prepare my line of defence.

till we hear differently, it appears that 3 - only, thank gawd! - doesnt allow/include any calls to these cheaper operators.

i've gone back to vodafone & orange anyway as 3 cust.service & billing were/are disgraceful..

they may be cheap & have brill offers but it aint worth the hassle to fight them over everything!

Hi - I was charged 25pence/minute for these call. Total bill of £93. I argued with them as on the day it was changed, they actually included them in my free minutes for some part of the day and the other half of the day they have identified it as personel number. Will give them a call again today.

with orange try 0797 383 2825 from pre-dial.com but not on weekends. Haven't tried this myself so don't know if actually works using your inclusive minutes

received my vodafone bill on thursday...


wasn't charged for calls to 07744 974333 & calculated that i saved about £140 using this service from my mobile..

noticed on their https://www.simply-fone.com website that they now include calls to india & india mobile at any time..

marvellous xmas prezzie for my lot!!
