    I know you are all going to balk at the cost but trust me these are worth it.

    NYDJ, in butterwash.

    They are the BEST jeans in the world. If you are a size 14+ they are sooooooooo cut for women, so comfortable, so worth it.

    Hi MrsE

    They look great and on the whole the reviews are good. The holding the tummy in bit is especially appealing.

    I could afford them if I wanted but there's this bit inside me that couldn't bring myself to pay £145 for a pair of jeans......which thinking about it , is a bit silly really, cos I would pay £145 for a special occasion outfit which wouldn't get half as many wears!!! I wonder why that is.....think I need to get my head round that conumdrum!??

    I have got an ancient (must be nearly 10 years old) pair of M&S jeans, which are washed out blue with a LONG slim leg and flare. They have a load of stretch in, although you can't tell from looking and I have never found a pair more comfortable or flattering. They are getting a bit down at heel now, but still look great for a casual look . Oh! They were £13 from the Famous Name Seconds Shop!!!!

    A tip for smaller women is to try to find jeans which have a visisble double row of stitching on the outer side of the leg, this gives an illusion of leg length and in turn slims the legs down. At 5ft1" I need all these tricks. When I find a pair I buy one in every colour!! My latest find was in the Grattan catalogue for £35, I will try to post a link.

    I love topshop jeans, the material is very soft and comfortable and as I am tall 5'10" I buy the tall range and they fit me perfectly!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Okay I'm doing the whole big wardrobe clear our and all the jeans bar 1 pair are going to have to go - they fit poorly, are too long or make me look like I should be in an 80's glam rock music video!

    My problems are I only like dark jeans, (Preferably black really) and am an hourglass shape 10-12. Sounds like no big deal yes? But I'm 5ft tall and almost every pair of jeans I have ever had has stuck out at the small of my back because I have no fat there so always looks a little funny. Any help would be greatly received...plus if I don't buy sensible ones I'm going to relent and buy those gorgeous bright colour leopard print jeans from Primark (Oh how I want those, but they aren't that versatile)!

    I find that Primark jeans no good if you have a tendency to get the gape on the waist.If you want sensible bootcut at a good price then it is New Look Hula which come in different lengths and are good for pears so I am guessing that they would be good for hourglasses.
