I did mention this on another thread but I think it is so useful to share jeans tips as I have wasted a lot of money in the past on jeans that just don't flatter me.
Recently I have discovered New Look Hula jeans which are10 pounds and come in indigo, mid blue, light blue, white or black. They are the most flattering jeans that I have ever worn because they make the waist look slimmer and higher, reduce saddlebags and elongate the leg, making the thighs look trimmer. The indigo colour is really smart and the white ons are lovely for summer. They are perfect for pear shapes.

My tip!
Check out the pockets on the back before you part with your money. The right size of pocket in the right position on the back make a massive difference to how big your butt looks!!
I must go and try the jeans you recommend. I've shied away from New Look, I must admit as I think I'm probably quite a bit older than most of you posting on these new fashion threads atm and perceive the cut of clothes from these kind of shops as skimpier .
Will keep an open mind from now on !0 -
I like Hula jeans too. I find that Skinny Flare jeans from Dorothy Perkins are super slimming too!

I know what you mean about New Look cut being skimpy but these jeans are a more classic cut, in fact, you would be forgiven for thinking that they were from Marks and Spencer. No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30

My top tip for buying jeans is take someone who is brutally honest and won't just tell you they 'look great' for the sake of it. I'd much rather have someone say 'yeh they look like !!!!', than be let loose on the world with dodgy looking jeans!
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -

I agree, I have a pair of these. The fit is great, and they come in different lengths 28-34 I think (I am only 5' tall so wear the 30" length ones).
They are very flattering, and a bargain at £10.0 -
