Hate to agree Sammy but Children need routine especially at bedtime. I have followed the same routine at bedtime since Bea was 2 weeks old and give or take a few changes i.e. where she has story, whether she comes down for half an hour after bath, everything is still the same. Bed is 7:30 at the latest and if she wants to potter in her room thats fine but she knows she is not allowed to come back downstairs.
Its really hard when your on your own though hun and can totally see why she stays up with you. Just imagine having an evening to yourself :) and also she will really need the sleep when she starts school

    morning all.

Well I have my pink pointy shoes on.........

Hair is up (first time - no faffing!) and well and truly glued into place. It looks like my avvy photo but with curls at the back rather than straight.

OH is dropping me there as it will be £6 to park. It's only just under 2 miles away in town but it's a booger having to pay that much to park all day.

I'm very philosophical - if it is for me, i'll be offered it. If it isn't I won't so I'm chilled. Just.

See you all later.........tests are this morning, then Q+A session, then lunch then the interviews. Should be back by 3.30 I think.

Good luck BB, you are in the best frame of mind to be in. We will all be thinking of you and willing it to be good news (of course if it turns out to be the job for you)

    Now go Wow them :)

Good luck BB. Hopefully the hair cooperating is a good sign;)

Just waiting for doc to call me back - forgot to mention I was BF when talking to her yesterday and don't want to take a chance that she didn't realise... Once she confirms it is fine I'll take my first happy pill!

Otherwise today is baby massage day and Nathan is much better so hopefully will settle back to normal sleep patterns.

Oh - doc just rang. Apparently manufacturer recommends not using them if BF so need to pop to surgery for new prescription. Thankfully the docs is about 200m from my front door:rolleyes::p

    Well spotted Luc!

Why can't people get up in the morning! I'm not being picked up for another half hour. I'd have been there by now!

    morning all -

good call on the anti-d's Lucifa! might have resulted in a very sleepy boy otherwise! tsk tsk for GP who prescribed them first off though!

sally - sorry for keeping you up chatting last night, you really should tell us people who keep wittering on to shut up y'know! you need your rest...!

BB - knock em dead babes!!

    Bookie - enjoy NEC!

sammy - erin is pretty good at going to her bed but she doesn't go early, 10pm is a normal time for her.... unfortunately it shows in the morning as she struggles to get up. The thing is, i spend so little time with her that an extra hour in the evening together seems like a good idea at the time...

I watched the my kid won't sleep programme too, felt so sorry for the wee laddie with narcolepsy (sp?) he was so sad.... but the older girl was just purely brat-ish behaviour as far as i could see! the younger one maybe less so, as she was sleep walking... but still slightly a brat as well!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
