I love this thread, just read most of it. I can never imagine having a 'capsule wardrobe'.

    Warehouse dark indigo cropped jeans
    Royal blue M & S plain scoop neck T-shirt
Pale grey and royal blue Indian scarf with silver threads
    Silver gladiator sandals
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

So, my outfits for the weekend were:
Early start travelling. White wedges (asda £10), French connection flares (£34 sale) French Connection charcoal low back top (£12 sale) Morgan suede jacket (£16.49 Ebay). Stupidly sat backwards on train so 1 hour into journey started throwing up. Spent the rest of the journey throwing up. Got to Paddington and had a taxi drive across London. Got to hotel had a drink and threw up again. Had another drink then went to go into town and out for lunch. Got a little way down the road and decided I couldn't as I felt too ill. Called my friend to explain to her and promptly started throwing up in the gutter (This is all before we went out drinking :( ).
Went back to hotel, undressed and got into bed shivering. Slept for a bit and then felt well enough to go and meet them all for cocktail making. So dressed in my red matalan dress (£20 a couple of years ago), white wedges and morgan jacket. Cocktails were great fun.
Back to hotel to get ready for evening do.
Boden blue spotty wrap dress (free) and silver pumps (asda £8).
This morning awoke vowing to face forwards on return journey. Wore white vest (tesco £2.50), white cardi (tesco, free with moc), pink trousers (asda- birthday years ago) and silver pumps.
Horrified that I have put weight on so my trousers are too tight. I now need to concentrate on shifting the extra weight.
Now feel ready for bed but have to get kids bathed and into bed before I can bath and go to bed. I'm on an early tomorrow so scrubs 7-2.30. Don't know about after.
Did buy myself some nice coral undies on Friday from Mr T but they were the only set that fitted me in the shop. Looked in asda and they only had 1 set in my size too. They don't sell 32 DD except in the Katie Price range and I'm not mad keen on them.
    Anyhoo- enough waffle, cheerio!

    Evening all,

Lots of lovely outfits as ever - phudge, the collages are fab, you're great at taking pics!

I've had a family weekend and have been looking scruffy to say the least. This thread has made me realise though just how much I tend to wear and re-wear the same things, despite a bursting wardrobe, que some mad eBaying this evening!

    Yesterday I was wearing:
    Topshop Harper jeans
White vest with bib effect - bought in HK for a couple of £s
Grey canvas pumps from New Look
    Long brown boyfriend cardi

    Today I was wearing:
    Topshop Harper jeans - again!
Black Topshop t-shirt with angel sleeves & underbust tie
    Leopard print pumps

I reckon I only wear about 5% of my wardrobe from looking back on this thread - once my job finishes I'm gonna do some serious wardrobe demolishing!!

Gymfiend, good luck with the sorting out! That's the point of a capsule wardrobe - you wear and love everything! You have to think much more carefully about the choosing and buying bit but after that it's very freeing not to have to think 'what can I wear today?'.

Kaz, sorry you were ill for your trip, what a pain x

Sharron, thanks for the nice compliments on my collages ;)

Im addicted to this thread now!! :D

    Yesterday daytime I wore:

Chocolate brown jeans (bought by my lovely mum as an Xmas present for me year before last and now a bit faded but I dont mind - it gives them character!!! They originally came from Bon Marche)
Brown cotton gypsy top with white stitching from Littlewoods (its very striking and I think it was also very expensive - oops :rotfl:)
Brown furry-type boots with pom poms (Primark - Christmas pressie from Mum last year)

OH and me went out last night into Leicester to the pub and the cinema, so I changed into:

Black leggings (£12 from Simply Be catalogue - I adore them and have three pairs!!! I tend to tuck them into black socks and make them look like tights)
Long black tunic with embroidered flowers and tie straps (this also came from Simply Be and I am ashamed to admit it was VERY expensive!! However it is beautiful, I wear it a lot especially in warm weather and it always attracts positive comments - my mum adores it and that says a lot - she's my biggest fashion critic!! :rotfl:)
Black cotton shrug with ruched sleeves (yes, you guessed it, Simply Be lol)
Black cotton ankle socks with lace trim (Bargain - New Look, £1)
Black sparkly ballerina pumps (I think these were £20 from Evans - they're so cute and very comfortable)
Accessories: Silver Austrian crystal earrings (birthday present from Mum last year) Silver bracelet (ditto) and my gold Claddagh commitment ring and silver eternity ring.

Today - for Father's Day barbecue at FIL's house.
Brown linen shirt dress (Simply Be, £27)
    Chocolate brown jeans (as yesterday)
Black, gold and red socks (Primark, £1.50 for 2 pairs!!!)
    Black pumps as yesterday.
Accessories: Bracelet and rings as yesterday, plus gold Celtic cross and chain (Valentines Day pressie last year from OH) Brown Jackie O sunglasses (£2, Primark)

Tonight - trip to the pub with OH (again lol)

Black mesh blouse with gold hearts and black cami underneath (Evans, last year. Cant remember for the life of me how much it cost though!!!)
Black cotton trousers with gold threads (Bon Marche, in the sale, I think they may have been £10. Am chuffed cos they're only a 22 and I still fit into them!!!) :rotfl:
Socks, shoes and jewellery as before...

Eyeonspain I can't help but be jealous reading how you get to wear shorts every day :(

    Today's outfit here is:
Dark blue straight leg Mavi jeans (had them for a good few years - originally more expensive than I dare remember but they are well loved & worn)
    Black Topshop top as yesterday
Lime green cardigan (£5 in the Republic sale a couple of years ago)
    Leopard pumps
Beige cropped jacket (Primark - think it was about £12 and has worn well, had it at least a year)
Accessories are sparse today, just the usual rings, Marc Jacobs heart watch necklace and a gold Seiko watch I picked up at yesterdays boot sale, it's a tiny little vintage one with a cute rolled gold bracelet - £2 :)

Started looking through my drawers yesterday night and throwing out what's not decent enough for eBay, amazed at some of the things I found - I'd forgotten I owned them!!!
