Apart from these pieces I have white linen trousers, navy linen trousers, navy vest top, long navy cardi, navy bag and navy peep-toe high heels. All the colours go together (yes, I do wear red and pink together if I'm in the mood for colour!) and all the pieces can be worn together apart from a couple such as the red top with the purple and white linen skirt.

This is my summery capsule wardrobe but I wear some of the clothes year-round and in the winter will just need to add some jeans, some navy closed-in shoes and maybe a jumper/cardi or two in a pretty colour so I am not wasting money and am getting the full use of everything I have :money:

I hope you liked the collages - please post more piccys as I am sure we'd all love to see the wonderful outfits you are all wearing!

Phudge I love your collage and the sound of your wardrobe. I am so inspired! I notice your glasses are Tous. You are probably aware that they are Spanish and here they do lovely jewellery, bags, wallets. So the nosy anal person inside me whats to know if your wardrobe is arranged in colour?

goanmad - can't wait to see you pics, your outfits always sound so exotic like every piece could tell a story.

Eyeonspain, I didn't know that about Tous! It was just a brand of glasses from D&A where I had my eyes tested but the designs were lovely. I will have a look at the bags etc now I know so thanks for that!

Is my wardrobe arranged in colour? Err, no , but that's a very good idea!!:p

  • Phudge, you are someone after my own heart, i loved your collages(sp), they looked like something from a proffessional magazine. I espically loved the purple/lilac stuff (my colour!!) How unburdened is it to have a capsule!! I love it!!

Bronnie, have a good holiday, we'll miss you, bet you will be the best dressed person in zante!!!!

goanmad, i may need to know your ebay name(pm me), your clothes sound gorgeous, really individual i love vintage and have been noseying around on ebay, but i'm really nervouse about it. I don't want to look how my gran did, but i would love a few vintage bits in my wardrobe.

Weather's absoloutly rubbish again, cleaned my house top to bottom today (it's like the forth bridge, you get to the end and have to start all over again lol) and had me long soak in the bath whilst dh walked dogs and did kids homeworks. I cooked the roast as it was fathers day!!

Today i'm wearing Hula jeans (thanks eyeonspain), purple vest (primark), pearl beads, loopy earrings, and silver toe-posts from barrats. Havn't been out today so havn't needed a cardi/jacket.

Haven't read the whole thread - just this page - so, here goes. Today, I am wearing:

10k run t-shirt that I got in 2000 (it tells me so on the shirt!)
jogging bottoms that a friend passed on to me about 6 years ago
grubby nails, because I've been sorting out the garden
and my hair is styled in my own, authentic 'pulled through a hedge backwards' look, extra-authentic today, because it has been
    3 year-old slipper socks.

    I'm grubby but comfy!
