What on earth happened to the gorgeous weekend we were promised? It's blinking cold here today!!!
Been to a jumble sale and a car boot today and just popping a few finds on eBay. I'm wearing:
Sleeveless tunic dress made from vintage scarves (homemade)
Topshop elasticated belt with leather ends and chunky buckle (20p boot sale)
Black lace trim short leggings (20p boot sale)
Black TopShop long-line skinny wool cardi (a lovely friend got it from a boot sale for me)
Leather Gladiator boots - like sandals but come 10inches up the leg (£3 from a market in India)
3 Big chunky wooden bangles - dark wood cuff, one with peace signs and another with turquoise beads and diamonte bits (Ex-Accessorize, 30p each from boot sale)
Urban Outfitters Peacock feather earrings (5p boot sale)
The usual Silver rings from India.
Vintage tooled leather saddle bag (charity shop £1)0 -
1960s brown caftan with orange flowers and my usual antique gold necklace. No shoes or wedding ring because they have all ceased to fit.
The necklace used to belong to my grandmother and the caftan was my mother's. She wore it when pregnant with me and now I'm wearing it. I wonder if the infant in my belly will one day wear it?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -

Depends on whether they like to ride fast?! We do endurance and did a pretty fast, long training session today. With a 120km ER in 2 weeks time, I'm kind of focussed!!!0 -
brown linen trousers (eBay)
mauve (?) vest top (lil sis)
green cardi to keep off the chill (lil sis)
I had started to get dressed this morning into scruffy stuff - but realised that I would be too ashamed to post on here amongst all you glamorous ladies so made an attempt to be slightly better dressed.
I must say thankyou to you all, am the furthest away from a clothes horse you could get - i live in my 'rig' for work , my leathers and sports kit yet with this thread I am starting to wear some of the finds I have made and starting to enjoy it.
Sharron - i bought the teeny green silk dress for the wedding so am shopping for accesories tommorow

I hope this works - I have made a collage of some of my favourite pieces in aqua, teal and turquoise. If this works , I'll make some more in different colours from my capsule wardrobe.
