    Hi Shelly,

I find its just as effective - I dont usually use a separate conditioner but like I say the Avon one is really good at getting my hair really clean, especially when I've had spray or something in it - I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm not too keen on the makeup, and I've been disappointed with the last few items I've ordered, especially the lipstick.

But the underwear is great, I've got quite a few sets of matching bra & pants, they do a good variety of sizes, and they wash really well. The price is pretty good as well.

    I love Avon face cream.
I bought the new No.7 Protect & Perfect supadoopa serum but I thought it was rubbish.
I've just ordered some more Anew as it is the best I've ever found.
The shampoo is very rich and I sometimes find I don't need a conditioner when I use it too.
I prefer to order online and wait for the big box to arrive.

I've tried Avon in the past but I didn't really like anything I tried and I converted to another brand recommended to me by a friend

I'm also tempted by the lipstick with 7 shades, wonder if anyone has used this and would reccommend it? don't want to waste £10!

the 7 shade lipstick is £7 in brochure 12 (from 15July), and dd2 teacher has already bought this and loves it - though i'm not sure of the colours for myself as i like dark colours usually

I have been buying the Avon shower gels and liquid hand washes for ages - usually when they're on special offer.

I found that they were really drying out my skin though. I bought some Clarins shower gel and other bits and used them for a change and the difference is amazing. :j

I don't fancy going back to the Avon stuff now. I swear by the Avon Skin So Soft body oil (to keep flies off our horses) and also the Visual Perfection tinted moisturiser. That is brilliant stuff!

Avon used to have a lot more variety in their books from what I remember, these days it all seems very samey.

We don't have an avon rep anymore that I know of, used to have a great one but she quit to have more free time, next one wasn't bad but gave it up, last one gave us a book and never picked it up. Pretty miffed as I wanted to order perfume from it that was half price!

Their colour trend black eyeliner is pretty good I'll give them that, but I'm tending to find that they don't do enough different shades for them to appeal to me, and when they do (Like the gorge glossy black nail polish they had) they cost a lot of money for something you have to wait for.

i wonder if our rep has quit already?! i gave a 'small' order from the latest catalogue no 12 and she was supposed to come and deliver on Monday but never came. so i decided to phone her last night (number on my copy of order) if all was ok and she said she didn't get me at home and will come today pm. no news still. if she doesn't come i don't think i'll bother her anymore - pity as we have never had an avon rep around here and it would have been only the 2nd order! i think if she had missed me (was on school run athethime) the least she could have done was pop a postitnote - i'll suggest that to her if she does come eventually.
