I think Avon are great! I love their shower gels, especially the yogurt ones. I usually only buy stuff when there are great special offers on though.0

Some of there stuff is good I usually shop online though via quidco as you get 10% back, sometimes there are special offer & discount codes on the Discount code&vouchers section.Booo!!!0

thanks for that!
have ordered mainly their lotions and body washes and not really wasting £ on their makeup then.
have to wait till 29th for delivery!.
do the reps take cheque/card - or only and always cash. do they keep change.
I used to sell Avon and accepted cash and cheque as long as the card number was on the back. Reps can't accept card payments as it's not like Betterware. I think it usually depends on the rep too whether they accept cheques as I think it is up to the individual as it is classed as your own little business. I used to carry around a purse with me to put my money in and always carried around change with me.Did owe £9,951.96

I think Avon are great for shower gels and similar low priced items. But for food moisturiser and facial beauty treatments, I think they aren't on the same level as Clinque and the like.Mmmm, doughnuts0

I have just had my first order from Avon in years and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I ordered some cosmetics which although not expensive, were not that cheap either, and I felt the quality was very very poor. I felt for less or similar money I could have bought similar but higher quality items in boots from Rimmel or No7 etc. However I thought the handcream that I ordered was quite nice, and the offer did make it good value. I don't think I will be placing another order, unless some of the offers really are very good.2009 wins: Cadburys Chocolate Pack x 6, Sally Hansen Hand cream, Ipod nano! mothers day meal at Toby Carvery! :j :j :j :j0

Their prices are a fraction of Clinique & they are cheaper than Bourjois too:rolleyes:
I'm not a fan of their stuff BUT I love skin so soft pink shower gel:j0 -
I was converted to Avon a few years back when someone at work used to bring in a catalogue and showed me some of the stuff. I have been quite impressed with some of their products. I've used there :-
- Shampoo/Conditioner (very good for my hair)
- Footworks products (creams and scrubs)
- Hair removing cream
- Skin so soft body oil
- Face scrubs
- Hand creams
- Love their glitter type mascara in black/gold and black/silver they do at Christmas - great for holidays and parties! It's about £6 and nice and subtle
- Bronzing pearls
- The big paddle hair brushes
- Face masks
- Glimmerstick eye pencils
. It's not cheap but they sometimes have offers on where you can get it for alot less...
I am quite careful what products I get from them but once I got a perfume I wasn't keen on from the internet and had no problems in returning it.
If you don't like any of the products it is really easy to return, whether you ordered from internet or online.. I am a fan of Avon..

I like the Glimmersticks eye pencils
The underwear is really great, the bras look nice and wash well and last
I usually get a few nice Christmas gifts from there too0 -
I have their eye cream which is great.
I've also got a mascara (definitely wasn't the cheapest), which is POOR quality. However, my other mascara was a pricey No. 7 one but the Avon one is just too clumpy.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0 -
I have to say make up wise I have only ever found one product that I’ve liked from Avon and that is a cream eye shadow that I actually bought from a car boot sale!
I do like a few of their body products though.
My favourite product like Summer01 is the Sleep Therapy Pillow Spray I always stock up on it if we do happen to get an Avon Catalogue through the door (which is hardly ever).
I think I would try more items if we had someone in our area that left us a brochure but I don’t think there is anyone as I think we’ve only had one brochure put through the door in about 3 years. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
