    The fact that the fault dosnt follow when the cables are switched suggests its the box. Possible the tuner but I think you will need an engineer visit.

    Sky engineer just replaced our 6 month old LNB with a new one. Apparently there was a real bad batch, which was the source of all our troubles. See if you can get an engineer out to replace it.

    tnxs mate,,but as iv just moved house & reinstalled it myself i rekon it must of been something i have done,not a lot to them tho so cant see what,,i would think about getting them out, but as iv installed it i spect im liable

    Did you check to see if the fault replicates on the other channels on the same transponder?

    Also do you have a cordless phone near the box?

    tried it on 3 different ch now,same thing happens...its deffo something to do with no signal on input 2...can someone see if they have signal/quality strength on there unit...input must be something to do with sky+

    only got mobiles,no different from my old house really

    Ok I am still edging towards the box, but to totally rule out the dish etc can you borrow a friends/relatives sky box and plug it in to see if the problem still exists? Even if its not a + box just plug each feed in turn and see if you can get Sky 1 or any of the channels on that TP (you will need their card as well).
