b) (0845 number) If you're a BT customer 1p at weekends, 1p cheap rate and 3p at peak rate. If you're not a BT customer - see link below.

c) If you are a BT customer - it doesn't make any difference - if not 1p at weekends, 1p cheap rate and 3p at peak rate, ie BT rate - providing your telephone line is provided by BT.

d) I know there isn't a D in stumpys quote - but 1899 will charge ½p per minute at any time.

Actually, I don't think he/she did - gk172 was actually recommending a Ministry of Sound CD clock radio instead of the sony one - and on whose recommendation I bought one (well, actually, my OH did, for a chrimbo pressie for me ;D)

Although I noticed its now gone back up to full price again. :-/

Ah, but there are no Manager's Specials which are suitable for child minding or work purposes.

However I have a vague recollection of 592-3419 Handy Hints Book which advises on suitable excuses.

I may come across a copy yet.

went to argos argos today and they had one of those rear projection toshiba tvs (that were £599 in the sale)for £399 it was a managers special but it had already been reserved, they also had the venturer portable 6.5cm dvds (no in catalogue 533/4063)as managers specials for £89.99 so keep a lookout cos they might turn up at other argos's
