claiming CASBACK on mobiles
i have a phone from onestopphoneshop on a line rental free offer. The document says to send a copy of the invoice on month 4, 8 and 12.
i bought the phone near end of november. The billing date for the orange network is the 10th therefore i received my first bill after a fortnight, in dec. Is this bill for month 1? Remember it only covers 2 weeks. If yes then i will send a copy of march's invoice.
i rang OSPS and got two answers from two different people. It is the forth bill or 4 months after connection.

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

I would regard the bill you've got as bill 1. When you send it to them make sure to send it Recorded Delivery. If it turns out to be incorrect you would then send the following bill.
You could email them and thereby get a written response.
It seems that this company has received some adverse comment on this site.0 -
With OSPS ring them, get the name of the person you speak to, with the date and time and write it down. Ask them exactly which bill they want at the 4 month point. They will say something like you need to send the 1st bill after ...(date). When you get the bill ring them again to confirm. Attach a covering letter quoting the person you rang the 2nd time to confirm. Send the bill guaranteed next day delivery, it costs about £4 and arrives next day before noon. Make sure you time in to arrive Monday to Friday. You can check online that they have received it. In your letter say you will call them in 7 days to ensure everything is OK. Call them in 7 days. All this may seem a bit of hastle, but when you get your £80 or whatever it is, it will be worth it.
Hope this helps

Their letter regarding cashbacks says that you are able to claim a cashback "after x months of being connected" - the invoice says which month is applicable.
So if the invoice says, eg. "£100 cashback m4", then once you have been connected for 4 months, you need to send a copy of "the first 2 pages of most recent airtime invoice" - as stated on their cashback letter - to claim the cashback.
So if you are connected on eg. November 25th, you can claim cashback on March 25th. If they send you the bills on the 10th of each month, then the bill to send would be dated March 10th, as this would be the most recent.0 -
Please be aware that with OSPS you need to send the bill you receive AFTER the 4 month point. So as I said earlier CHECK with them. I have an account and I connected on the 21st of the month. However my bill was generated on the 10th of the NEXT month. Therefore I had to wait for the first bill AFTER the 4 months were up. But to get the correct information please ensure you call them. I only had 2 redemptions which were at 3 and 6 months. So when I came to close the account at the 12 month point it all worked out OK as I just told orange to cancel at the 12 month point, which they are going to do.
Sorry to go on, but OSPS will hold you to the letter of the contract.
Hope this helps
