Travel Rent Overcharging

I returned last week from a holiday in the Algarve. Through advice on this site, I booked my Car hire with TravelRent.
i booked the car hire last month, before the summer price increases, and after several conversations by email and on the phone with various people (Patricia, Mario, et al.) I was offered a price of 105 euros for a peurgot 206 estate.
The car was (ok) although I would hardly call it an estate; more like an extended hatch. And the quality, cleanliness, etc. was not what I have received before in the algarve from other companies...But it was cheap so I can accept it not being perfect.
HOWEVER. WHAT I CANT ACCEPT...Via email, phone, etc. they agreed a price of 105 euros. however when I turned up at their desk after the flight, they charged me 155 Euros. After an argument, I either paid or got no car. Now, I had a wife and two small children with me. Everyone was tired after the flight, and anxious to start the holiday. we had already had a delay while complaining because Easyjet decimated out luggage.
So I paid. but I made it clear I would be complaining.
I paid on my Visa.
Do I have any recourse to complain? and possible get a reimbursement from Visa? I have proof of the original agreement in email.
