Well I use limewire myself and don't get bombed with spyware... but i know that if you dont get the limewire basic/lite package, it installs various spyware such as weatherview or whatever its called whcih can be deleted from add/remove program.

Go through that list. If you see things like SaveCast or other suspicious things, google them then delete them if they're spyware

ok i cleaned the threats

restarted laptop

and havent yet recieved the windows infected pop up


this is how my old computer got messed up..it was infected with spyware and got it repaired about 6 times and after that it just completely stopped working and it was unfixable!

New Win 32 is a variation of the Kelvir tool:

The above link has a download for a removal tool which should remove it.

I would advise downloading a program called AdAware from lavasoft regarding all the other various spyware. That will give you more detailed information on the spyware trend found.
