I don't think you have won anything. I often get similar emails and I just delete them.
  • Is Get me a Ticket dodgy? Got some dodgy email from them saying I may have won £1,000 voucher for Argos, Currys, Topshop or Boots but I need to confirm my postcode. But the link to do that takes up to pick-your-apple.

Just want reassuring that it is dodgy as I am new! Thanks

Get Me a ticket is very spammy.
"May have won" means you haven't won but they'd like to get you interested.

This smell distinctly fishy to me this blog has posted a number of competitions where you have to sign up to another sites newsletter to enter and also follow the blog in a number of ways

    https://www.facebook.com/muddystilettos

It looks like she reposts other sites comps and then ask that you follow her for "additional" entries.

The other sites make no mention of her bog at all

  • Just had a phone call and got all excited when she said it was about a competition I'd entered to win £10,000 or a mini cooper...until she started telling me I'd been one of 100 people chosen to play their euro million syndicate game at which point I told her I wasn't interested as it sounded like a scam. She laughed and said they'd been around for 5 years and to look at their website. I still didn't feel right so I hung up.

    Anyone else had this??
Previous wins: Google Chromebook, iPhone 5, £100 Figleaves voucher & an iTunes voucher.

Back to comping after a long absence. Wish me luck!

Yes, they've spammed quite a few people on here.

That woman calls me at least once a month and asks the same stupid questions. I'm thinking of making up a bunch of fake stuff to tell her when she calls next time to have a little fun. :)

I'm sure http://www.1000-vouchers.co.uk/ is a scam too? I got an e-mail to say I won.

Complete scam and spam. I'm pretty sure you'll get even more spam from them if you try to unsubscribe. Same with producttesting.uk.com or .co.uk or whatever.
  • Wizemove ipad comp on twitter seems to be a scam. Their 'winner' was told to DM them but they don't follow him, the winner has nil posts really (9 until some people kicked off and he argued), winner didn't RT the original comp and is a company director in Cardiff- something to do with telecommunications. I won't be using his company after the way he responded to some people :P. If they're going to scam, at least try and make it look convincing! They put a post up about 20 minutes ago to do with negative posts being taken as slander but people just told the truth- based on fact- and it was removed. Interesting!
