Sounds extremely dodgy. I really hate companies that try to con you. I get a warped sense of satisfaction when I shred mail like that.

i think i got the same letter in the mail some time ago. asked for 20 to be sent as soon as possible so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

its definitely a scam. hope you didn not part with any money yet.

I did post in humour,alas the wrong place but hey, I tried!
There is no fear of me sending them any money---just wish I could buy a load of stuff and send the bill to them!!!

I've 'won' a 7 night, 5 star holiday with CLUB LA COSTA! Unfortunately I didn't win the Caribbean Holiday first prize (shocking) but "all" I have to do to obtain my fabulous prize is attend a two hour meeting next weekend! I'm under no obligation to purchase anything at all!

However, it transpires that on the date I am due to meet with them I am already going to be busy responding to an email I have from "Uddi Fraudman" regarding that 1 million pounds I've won if I just forward my bank details................
