Yes, I have also 'won' according to this emailer...wish it were true..but sadly another scam.
I think you may be asking for trouble to give them any details...also I would make sure your computer is scanned for 'spyware' etc..as I had some in my computer after some emails like this.

I get several of these on a daily basis and so does my boyfriend. They just want your bank details out of you - I think not.

Lol - Thanks guys. I just had a phonecall this morning (from 01702467721 - caller id on mobile!) telling me I entered a comp for a Carribean cruise and whilst I had lost that month I had automatically been entered into this months comp and won a Runners-Up prize of a holiday for 4 to one of four destinations (Tenerife, Turkey, Costa del Sol or Austria) .......and you only have to pay a £29.50 per person airport fee because of "Legal Reasons" for them not being able to pay it.

£50 worth of store vouchers for M&S, Argos, etc. for phoning the free phone number within 15 minutes. 0800988990 - ref TTH753

i Had one of these calls last week, saying i had won a holiday for 4 and i just had to go to my regional centre and pay 29.50 per person, he was very pushy, in the end i just put the phone down. Surprising thins is, it was from a competition i had entred at the Ideal home exhibition, it seems they are letting anyone in these days.

Got a letter today to my address with no name just "Mr/Mrs"

Inside theres a note saying "Congratulations This number has drawn one of the gifts donated by local business"

Gives a number which says normal telephone rate under it and a hand written code.

There is a second note that says "with compliments Survey UK" and the address:

Googled address and found this;

I have received an enquiry from a NHW member who has received an email from a Company called Matters Consulting Ltd, t/a Survey UK of Cheltenham, https://www.surveygifts.co.uk.

The email informs them that they are entitled to a gift donated by a local business (no name given).

They quote a gift confirmation number which can either be telephoned through or by logging onto their website.

Trading Standards have confirmed they have heard of this Company - they are trying to get people to join a gym by giving a free gift of a manicure or pedicure and supposedly cheaper membership to the Gym Club."


So anyone who recieves anything from this company beware.
