    Definite Scam
  • Definitely a scam!
I just enter and forget...hoping to win something! :)
  • Hi everyone, it's my first time to post on here. Yesterday I received a phone call and the lady told me I have won £1000. I was pretty shocked so I didn't take all the info in, but I'm pretty sure she said it was from either magic or heart fm. All she wanted me to do was confirm they had my name spelt right and my address correct. She didn't ask me to sign up to a lottery syndicate like the other calls I get! Although I was expecting that! She said it's a cheque and it will posted within 28 days. I so want it to be real but I just don't know what to think as iv never won before. Any advice is appreciated xxx

Seen a few of my FB friends L&S 'ing these two.
There is one FB friend in particular who keeps entering them. I keep telling him that they are a bit iffy. He won't have it though. I guess you can't tell some people. I'm sure I've seen one for a load of PS4's floating about as well. If I see it pop up on my feed again, I'll post it on here.

What is the point of this? What do they gain from it?

Are they just having a laugh at the folks who think they are entering a genuine competition?

I can't get my head around it :(

They gets lots of "likes" for the page and then they sell the page.

For some reason a Facebook page with lots of likes is worth paying for.

If they had all of your details and did not ask for your bank details then I hope its a genuine win.
Perhaps you could facebook or twitter them just asking to confirm whether you have won.
