I must admit I've just got him to remotely log on again (it's a clamped down network but, as an administrator, he has remote access) and the little chick is still moving occasionally! No sign of the other eggs hatching yet. Apparently, once all the chicks have hatched, they put them in another box and send them back from whence they came to be reared. They are currently in the science lab it seems.

I am pottering a bit. But am really tired so I'm going to go to bed soon and be really naughty and LEAVE THE WASHING UP UNTIL THE MORNING.

    Ditto xx

oooeeeerrrr, I feel a little tipsy! Just watched Ashes to Ashes from last night, with a nice bottle of Shiraz.

Well folks, I know it's been the longest process from interview to starting work, but here I go! I start tomorrow, dealing with young people... what was I thinking???????????????????? I loathe teenagers.... they're so full of doo-doo! :D Ahh well. I'm sure it'll be a laugh, if nothing else!

ETA : just re-read that, and decided that I'm definitely tipsy! :D:D

I'll have you know he's not got a GF (at least if he has, he's keeping it very quiet!) - he has a wife! They married nearly 4 years ago. I organised the wedding (in 7 weeks!) and did it quite MSEish (although I was not a member of this esteemed site at the time). It came in at under £4000.00

Ooops, sorry. I forgot you refer to her as DIL. Well done with the wedding, we did ours very MSEish too!

Sarah, I'm sure you will be great tomorrow, we will all be there cheering you on!

Soappie, you said earlier that the “animals” are moulting – does BB have some brothers and sisters?

Hugs Poohbear hope things improve in your family and the problems are resolved

Mudbath, how great that you are back in touch with your friend!

Serena, I really like what you said about reflecting back to someone what they have said. I’m going to do that from now on – I think it will help me to be sure about what they mean.

Pauper, I would love to up sticks and move to the country and forget about modern living! Why are you feeling like that?

Grateful/Mudbath/other teachers, you must hear such funny things from the kids!

Boddy I bet your mum did enjoy having her hands massaged, that sounds lovely. We carry a lot of tension in our lower arms so that is a good place to massage too

Big hug Kaz, it all sounds really stressful. Your OH might not be thinking as clearly as normal while he is feeling so stressed out (which could be why he didn’t tell you about the stuff they sent him) – well done you for holding things together and all your hard work to help him. Hope your test goes well tomorrow, I hate the thought of having one too!

SianneLaz, I probably will request a new CPN, I’ve got an appointment tmrw with the doctor that arranges these things so I will be talking to him about today and see what he says. Your job sounds interesting, glad it doesn’t affect you too much emotionally. People like you are very important to a grieving family

SunshineSheli you are supposed to go from the age of 25 onwards, but after Jade Goody died there was an item on This Morning saying it should be available from whenever a girl starts having sex, as it’s a virus from the boy (harmless to boys) that can give a girl cervical cancer. Anyone who has had unprotected sex should have one, especially if with multiple partners. On a different note, hope you get to see your OH soon and have a hug and that the time races by til you can live together. I remember the time before DH and I got married, it seemed forever til we could live together, and then it raced by in the end!

RiversideJo well done with what you have achieved today! Hope your headache gets better. When and where are you going on holiday?

Hi Tinkerbellsmum, welcome to the thread!

Wilf, feel free to join in the weight loss, the more the merrier! So far Greenbee and I and someone else but I forget who are doing it. And some other people on the Loose Change thread are joining in too! At this rate we will need our own thread for losing weight/walking etc!

I did all of my personal list and will finish off today's list another time.
I've got a busy day tomorrow, so might not be about much. I'm seeing mum in the morning and have a doctors appointment mid afternoon, but I will be home early afternoon so will hopefully get something done then.

Greenbee, I've only done 2, 200 steps. Will have to try harder tomorrow
