Just popped on to say that I hope it goes well today Sarah, you will be great!
Welcome Feefeelalabelle, enjoy getting your place nice, but don't try to do it all at once. Just take babysteps and gradually it will all come together.
I'm off to Mum's now, I will fly later. See ya!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Do I win?
My mother and I organised my wedding in 3 weeks and 5 days on a budget of £600.... tax refund...
I was 37 weeks pregnant and huge on my wedding day
I'm afraid I beat you to the prize (is there a prize?) - I arranged mine in two weeks and spent under £300. I wasn't pregnant - quite a few people probably suspected I was, given the timescale -but we'd just decided, on the spur of the moment, to bring the wedding forward a year. It was a small, low-key ceremony, and right after Xmas, so the church was still decorated with all the Xmas flowers etc. My new in-laws paid for a meal in a restaurant afterwards, and we had a party at our place in the evening. My dress was paid for by the bishop (I was doing some administrative work for him at the time), and my shoes were bought in the sales.
To be honest, if I'd to do over again, I'd make a bit more fuss about it - but how was I supposed to know it would last 20 years and counting? ;-D0 -

Morning all,
DS2 woke up in the night throwing up, i took him into bed with me and when he woke up this morning he had a temperature. He's perked up a bit since the calpol but still isn't a well boy. He's snuggled on the sofa watching tv bless him. He was dying to go to nursery though as they are getting a rabbit today. I've phoned work and told them i won't be in. I feel terrible doing that but i haven't got much choice. I've got my appraisal tomorrow though so it's not going to do me any favours:rolleyes:. That's if i can even get someone to watch him so i can go.
As i'm home today i should be able to put a dent in my list. I need to go and find it first.

Triker and Cally (and others) - how are (not so)LOs doing now big nasty exams are nearly over?
Hi carol22, thanks for asking! Had a few hiccups, yesterday being one! DD has four exams from today & has been AWOL for the last five days - just out & about really, but not revising. I didn't say anything at first as I thought she would sort herself out, but after being out all day till 11pm yesterday she's now grounded. Last exam is next Weds - it can't come fast enough!!
Hope you get the results you want from yours! And so sorry to hear about your Gran as well, hope the treatment goes well.
My list for today:

Clear some floordrobe
Level Two
Clear landing floor.. or sort a hotspot out there!!
