Quillion - the cake is chocolate tiffin. The three tiers weighed about 6 kg in total :D I went over to my brother's this evening to show it to them. We've decided to just stack it, cut the edges off each tier so that you can see all the bits in it, and bung some strawberries and strawberry leaves on it. We had a delicious curry (cooked by my brother) and then a bit of the cake for pudding - the rest is in the car to go to work tomorrow!

Mudbath - hope your back is better soon. Can you swap a treatment with someone who can fix it?

Rose - just record your normal step count for the next few days, then plan how to increase it from Monday. I've done very badly for the last couple of days, as I'm constantly cold and tired, and haven't made it to the gym. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and get more active again. Sometimes there just isn't time to do everything!

    kazm - good luck tomorrow

SS - good luck tomorrow for you too!

Work is tough... and going to be like that for a while.

I'm on a Safer Recruitment course tomorrow evening, so may not be back here until Thursday.

Soappie, you said earlier that the “animals” are moulting – does BB have some brothers and sisters?

There's only one dog in the house (OK , maybe two if you include me! :D) But we also have two cats and three fish.... But the fish aren't moulting.

Thanks for all the hugs again. There's not much more news except they've done the postmortem and confirmed he was murdered. I'm not sure how much else i'm allowed to say so i won't say anymore yet. Everyones still a bit shellshocked .

    Hi everyone
    Have I been missed?

Last exam was today, I think they all went okay apart from one which everyone said was aaawful!
I've been very bad with housework while exams were on, plan on blitzing the place before we go to Ireland on Tuesday, so i'll be posting til then, and then mising for another week.
I'm quite stressed about my granny as well, she had chemo over the winter for bowel cancer, and has just been told she needs another round of treatment, she and my gramps live down in Brighton, all my family live up north, although my uncle's girlfriend lives with them (uncle is in Dubai) so she can look after them a bit. Plus, my mum doesn't seem very happy with her job, my boyf is stressed about college, and my auntie doesn't know where her life is going. Sorry, moaning over.
Have done quick catch-up, but have forgotten most things, so sorry if I forget you.

    Welcome to newbies

Sarah - good luck for tomorrow!

Kaz - well done for booking your smear! I'm not old enough to have one, but not young enough to get the cervical cancer jab on the NHS, so mum got it privately for me. I'm sure it will be absolutely fine, I'll be thinking of you.

Holly - massive hugs for you and your family.

Rose, Greenbee, and everyone else who wants one - have a big hug.

Triker and Cally (and others) - how are (not so)LOs doing now big nasty exams are nearly over?

I still miss Toots.. I joined in with the visualisation, I'm glad she felt good afterwards.

List for tomorrow (it's a mishmash)
    - PC world exchange
    - declutter living room
    - gym
    - organise uni files into storage file
    - check dermatologist booking
    - clean oven
    - vacuum living room, dust, clean sofa
    - clear out fridge
    - pub with uni friends to celebrate no more exams

I'll have you know he's not got a GF (at least if he has, he's keeping it very quiet!) - he has a wife! They married nearly 4 years ago. I organised the wedding (in 7 weeks!) and did it quite MSEish (although I was not a member of this esteemed site at the time). It came in at under £4000.00

    Do I win?

My mother and I organised my wedding in 3 weeks and 5 days on a budget of £600.... tax refund...

I was 37 weeks pregnant and huge on my wedding day

Thanks Greenbee that sounds really nice.
AF has been really bad and i have done no flying well actually i am lying there as i loaded and unloaded the dishwasher and then ds and i cuddled up on the sofa and watched wall-e.
I feel like a really crap mom at the moment as with my op i have not been able play with him like i normally do.
We have done crafting, colouring, painting, baking, cleaning, cooking and he has played on the wii which he really loves especially the wii sports and is getting really good on the golf and the baseball.
We normally do all that and more and often go out and walk, ramble and climb. Once i have all clear my next mission will be to teach ds how to swim and he is very excited about this. For me to get back to the gym.
The closer it gets to my date my job is finished the more i would like to be a sahm i love being there with my ds and dh but the trouble is ds will be at school in September. So do i have another baby which dh says he is happy with the one or go back to work if i can get a job.

I am going to housesit from Thursday for a week so i will not be on as much for a week but i will pop in when i come home whilst he is at school.
