Yes, it'll be fine ;) In fact, they're better left in the incubator for a few hours to "dry out". How exciting for DS :T Poor chicks, though, all those small hands wanting a hug  How old is DS

Thanks Pen-Pen I was getting all maternal over the little thing

DS will be 29 this year :D - he works at the school! It was me putting on Springwatch that reminded him about it. He thought I'd like to see it.

He acts like a 7 year old sometimes.....

I think it's for the school in general. Some government funded initiative or something.

He works at what I used to call a secondary school - ages 11-16. God knows what you call that now!

Siannie - I passed!! Thanks for asking :)

Kaz - Good luck for tomorrow, you'll be fine! (Does anyone know what age you're supposed to start going for a smear?! I have a feeling I need to go soon, but am dreading it!)

Valli - I hope DS feels better soon..

Hugs to everyone who needs/wants :)

Not done anything since I got in :( Passing theory test was pretty much the only good thing that hapened today, and I'm in such a mood I just cba.. All I want is a cuddle from OH, but he lives near bleddy Manchester which is a good 2 and a half hours away and on the wrong side of the pennines! Can't wait until we move in together, though it seems a very long way away today..
Anyway! Enough whining, and I promise I'll try and catch up with flying tomorrow after I've been to the doctors (please no blood tests Dr!!)

I think they have some sort of Academy status too.... The modern day education system confuses the hell out of me. Though I guess 'Year 1,2,3,4' etc. is probably more intuitive than the years at my secondary school 'III, lIV, uIV, V' pronounced 'third, lower fourth, upper fourth and fifth' then a,b,c classes within those years so my first year there, I was in IIIc

I have managed to rustle dinner up out of nothing tonight. I should have gone to the shops but I got stuck in research. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of rice, some frozen green beans, an onion, a stick of celery and some cashew nuts....

ETA Mudders - I don't think she has. I'll check and perhaps send her a PM telling her to come out of her hidey hole...
