    I've been Money Tipped!
    Tuesday - All done! :j

I'm shattered but the house is beginning to look much better. 2 days to go for "The visit" Hopefully after a couple of glasses of a good red wine and a meal they won't notice that the place needs decorating badly! Amazing what you see once the dust is taken away!:rotfl:
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

How did you get on Penny?

I did most of the dishes
wiped the kitchen surfaces and hob
    Dysoned the kitchen floor
    Put out the recycling
Emptied the Dyson bin & veggies into the compost
V quick tidy in the bathromm (not that anyone would notice)
Chucked out 2 manky pairs of shoes
    Dysoned the hall

I'm now going out for my HHW. Will do my night time routine once I'm back.

    URGENT QUESTION FOR PENELOPE PENGUIN

Pen-pen - tried to PM you just now but your box is full.

I have an urgent question about chickens. (someone else may be able to help but I know that you are the baby bird hatching guru)

DS's school has taken delivery of an egg hatching kit. They have set up a web cam so the eggs can be watched. This evening he logged on remotely to show me and one of the chicks has hatched and is trying to find its feet.

My question is, will it be alright without food and water until the morning? Do they have reserves for that length of time?

Yes, it'll be fine ;) In fact, they're better left in the incubator for a few hours to "dry out". How exciting for DS :T Poor chicks, though, all those small hands wanting a hug  How old is DS

I've made space now, and will have a serious clearout of my PM box tomorrow :o

Far too shattered to do anything as strenuous as cleaning windows or cick boards  :o:D Did a pile of filing, and made a list of jobs for tomorrow. Off to make coffee (and chocolate :p ) and watch the news.
